Qiskit Code Assistant preview release

The Qiskit Code Assistant leverages a specialized Large Language Model (LLM) based on the IBM® Granite™ 8B model, fine-tuned on high quality Qiskit code. This 8-billion parameter model is optimized specifically for quantum code generation, offering intelligent suggestions tailored for quantum computing tasks. It offers seamless integration with popular IDEs such as JupyterLab and Visual Studio Code (VS Code), so that users can easily incorporate it into their existing Qiskit development workflows.

We invite users to explore the Qiskit Code Assistant and provide feedback as we continue to refine and expand its capabilities as an exploratory tool.
