RGate

class RGate(theta, phi, label=None)

Bases: qiskit.circuit.gate.Gate

Rotation θ around the cos(φ)x + sin(φ)y axis.

Can be applied to a QuantumCircuit with the r() method.

Circuit symbol:

     └──────┘

Matrix Representation:

R(θ,ϕ)=eiθ2(cosϕx+sinϕy)=(cosθ2ieiϕsinθ2ieiϕsinθ2cosθ2)\providecommand{\th}{\frac{\theta}{2}}\\\begin{split}R(\theta, \phi) = e^{-i \th \left(\cos{\phi} x + \sin{\phi} y\right)} = \begin{pmatrix} \cos{\th} & -i e^{-i \phi} \sin{\th} \\ -i e^{i \phi} \sin{\th} & \cos{\th} \end{pmatrix}\end{split}

Create new r single-qubit gate.
