Interface for Quantum Real Time Evolution.

evolve

abstract RealTimeEvolver.evolve(evolution_problem)

Perform real time evolution exp⁡(−itH)∣Ψ⟩\exp(-i t H)|\Psi\rangle.

Evolves an initial state ∣Ψ⟩|\Psi\rangle for a time tt under a Hamiltonian HH, as provided in the evolution_problem.

Parameters

evolution_problem (TimeEvolutionProblem) – The definition of the evolution problem.

Return type

TimeEvolutionResult

Returns

Evolution result which includes an evolved quantum state.
